Just found your site and I am really enjoying reading all the great information. I have a pair of Altec 843A Malibus that I have been enjoying for the last 25 years, plus and old 604B & 604E that are currently sitting on a shelf. I listened to them for several years before dismanteling them from my DIY boxes.
The reason I happened across your site was I thinking my Malibus may need some updating, anyone have a good place for a nontech to start?

I am sure updates are available, ie: crossovers, etc -- I would post pictures in this thread and I am sure people will help.

Did you buy them new, or second hand?
