I built a 4430 clone from almost the original parts: 2235H, 2344A, but I do have 2426J (16 Ohms) instead of 2426H (8 Ohms).
I spent lots of hours reading the threads in this forum covering the 4430 crossover.
My crossover is an EV DX 38 (actually it's a Dynacord, Dynacord is EV now). It's fully digital, 2 in, 4 out, lots of EQ. The amps are two Yamaha MX1.
CD-horn-compensation is no problem, that can be done easily with the DX38.
The problem is the crossover at ca. 1 kHz. In order to start with an educated guess I am looking for frequency- and phase-response information for the 2235H and the 2426x+2344A-combination.
Really interesting is the range 1 kHz +/- 2 octaves, that is 250 Hz to 4 kHz.
Has somebody of the Clio-owners done such measurements?
Thanks in advance - Ruediger
PS: I'll be on vacation from Jul. 9th to Jul 12th and won't be able to reply within this time.
