Was listening the other day and lost the midbass. Early Ti 250's #00118 &
00119. Hot melt glue let lose and lead on the 15mfd cap broke.

that is why i dont like hot glue for crossovers they always fall apart. RTV silicone is the way to do it in my opinion

Yes as they get older the hot melt gets brittle. These were connected to
a pair of Krell KMA 400 mono blocks. How sweet they were sounding.
About 3 hrs into the session and. New glue not as good as their old
hot melt stuff

The amp may have been clipping.
Hot capacitors in this area is a dead..give away if you understand what clipping does.
