Hello

I recently by a pair of 2123h speaker. Before I never heard this speaker.
Well, I tried to use with my 2426j and 15". I never adjust it with them. The sound of the 2123 is not very good:biting:
I'm not happy. This jbl speaker is not good. I'm trust in jbl.
I tried passif actif filter. Nothing, is good.
The t/s parameter are very good. The Mms and his Bl are very good, the efficence too.
This is the second time I'm not satisied of jbl with 2226h. I sold it rapidly.

I bought it to similarity to 4343 ....

Maybe I should try the 6.5" 165h use in 3682 cinema speaker.
But I can find it to buy.

Thanks, sorry for my bad english

Hello

” The sound of the 2123 is not very good :biting:”

I’ve not had that experience. I think it sounds quite good. It performs exactly as designed and I think it has many desirable characteristics.

” I'm not happy. This jbl speaker is not good. I'm trust in jbl.”

Did you contact anyone about this or seek out any assistance?

There have been a few JBL transducers over the years that simply didn’t float my boat either but that doesn’t make them bad. I just avoid them for my personal use. It very well may be that the 2123H simply isn't your cup of tea and that's perfectly fine. If it doesn't do what you need done then search for another transducer that will fit the bill.

” I bought it to similarity to 4343 ....”

The 4344 Mk II network is probably the best to use with a 2123H in that type of role.

Make sure it is on a sealed 0.5 cubic feet box with some fibres glass fill (but not too much).

If your crossover is not correct or if the woofer is not tuned properly it will sound less than best.

If you wish to dispose of them please let us know so we can find a good home (dog box for 2123H)
