Just picked these up and never knew they existed. Any one got any info on these?

They've been discussed here a couple times, but I don't know much about them myself..

That price sure seems like a lot to me, with no grilles, needs surrounds, and questionable amps. :blink: I hope you're not planning on making a lot of money on these...

Sure we have seen them before. They are nice, selfpowered monitors. I don't think they are biamped however. They should clean up nice and you will have nice sounding monitor. Just hook up a CD player.

Thought it was neat just to have and try to get them going.Maybe someone here can help me with the electronics and I'll do the refoaming.I like these not for resale but just because I never seen a pair.By the way everthing I buy is not for resale.;)

The ebay pictures show that the center domes of the High Frequency Direct Radiators have been "pushed" in which will definitely affect their performance. The seller hit the “nail on the head” with the "Restoration Only" phrase because these speakers will end up costing at least $250 to fix them and the benefit verses the cost just doesn't make it.:banghead:
