I am thinking about upgrading a S7R to a S8R. I am considering adding the 2405 High Frequency Slot tweeter, instead of the 075, as there is one currently available, and I need to locate the N7000 crossover network. Can anyone tell me is the 2405 is a suitable replacement for the 075, or should I look for the 075? Also if anyone knows where I can l locate the appropriate n7000 crossovers I would appreciate it. Any tips you may have would also be appreciated.
Thank You

Hi Birdman,

the more expensive part to make a real S8R from a S7R is to get the 375 mid drivers with H93 horn to replace the LE85 and H91 from the S7R. Don't forget to change the frame for the 375 driver.
To take the 077 /2405 instead of the bullets is a good idea (my opinion).
To get the N7000 ....try ebay....prices from 30$ to 120$.

Thank You. If I was to keep the LE85 till I was to be able to afford the upgrade to the very expensive 375, it should not present a problem, right? I still use the N7000. Don't think I could lift the 23 pound driver by myself anymore, anyway.
