Did JBL put 116H woofers in L-19's. I have a pair of L-19's and looked at the woofers and both of them are 116H woofers. When I got them they needed refoamed and I had them refoamed. I didn't look at them when I took them in for refoaming some 5 or 6 years ago. But I got curious and took them out and looked at them. They definitely say L-19 on the back and front of the cabinets and say 116H on both woofers. A year or so after I had them refoamed I hooked up a Heathkit amp to them and after 10 minutes the right side of the amp popped and smoked one of the 116H's. I got another 116H off of e-bay and refoamed it. It taught me to test a new to me amp out on some test cheap speakers first even if it measures OK.
