My luck in finding the above for a pair of 2482 Series CDs is nill. Anyone have a vendor they know of that can fill my need?
Also does anyone know the proper paint? :blink:

I'm in the same boat. I need 1 red post for my 2482 restore.
I bought some gray wrinkle paint from Summit racing. It is VHT brand. It is a bit lighter than the original, but I think I may still go with it. Good luck with your resto!

The web site that is mentioned is the place to get the push terminals. JBL doesn't forward the complete assembly, leaving the inside portion out of the order. Also they are selling for 3X's the price as apexjr. I ended up with a two tone pair of 2482's using black, they look great. I only refinshed the diaphragm cap as the rest of the driver looked good. I also went with the Radian replacement diaphragm since it does sound a touch better than the OEM JBL (I got a pair for a comparison and the Radians sound a little more crisp). pc :bouncy:
