What was wrong with these?

Besides the fact that they don't look nearly as nice as the real things.

I thought maybe we were finally going to see some modern hi-res scans of these manuals. Someday I may scan in all the ones I have.

I got decent scans, but converting to jpeg and sizing to post here compromised them. Oddly, color was better than B/W, but the files were huge. :blink:

Yep, I just tried it too and see what you mean. Scans in looking fine and goes to hell from there.

Looks like the solution is to crank the res all the way down to 75 dpi...
Don probably already knew that...
