Did I get ripped?

Bought a set of "JBL 4311 - 4312 speaker grills" for my 4310's off epay.

They're not MDF, they're plywood (and a little warped). Anyone know for sure if the originals are MDF or ply? They fit perfectly and clear the raised baffle on the 4310's, but do not have that certain OEM look and feel to them. I think I may have gotten taken.

'twas late last night when I took the pics and too tired to upload them. Not the best pic, had the camera setup on a tripod to take time-lapse photos of my wife's lab experiment and didn't want to mess up the positioning.

4311A-WX grilles I have are MDF and black material. I would -guess-
from the material in the photo (not just color) and the use of plywood that
the grilles you have are not original. The warp would bother me more than
originality... they look like they were done pretty well. :dont-know -grumpy
