He has had them for sale for about two months. I almost bought them for an install but they were to wide for the application. The guys on the forum refer to them as a poor mans 4430. I'm very curious as to how they sound. There is no HF attenuation control like in the 44XX, or any of the Studio Monitors. So I really wonder how the HF is without any control.

I heard these at Best Buy In Wisconsin years ago and I remember they weren't lacking in the high end.They sounded incredible to me.

Not sure if it is the same guy, but he had a bunch of WAY overpriced stuff on his shelves, and what I seem to recall as a low-mid 43xx series he wanted like $1,400 for and was about $400 too much. $2,200 Mac amp that was worth maybe $1,400 IIRC.
