Well guys I've decided to go ahead and sell my century l110s but before I do i wanted to get you guy's opinion. I'd prefer to sell them locally or to someone on the board rather than ebay them and I wanted to find out if I would be justified in getting them fully up and running before I sell them or just leave them well enough alone. They're in great shape except for two minor issues:
1st the crossover has gone bad in one of the l100's and i need to replace it in order to restore the midrange to the speaker. Would you prefer that it be left unmolested or have it working when you buy it?
2nd The tweeter dustcaps are of course pushed in (before i got my hands on them) and one tweeter has a pin sized hole in it's cone. I have a pair of le 25-4's that are in mint condition that i can replace them with but then it doesn't have model specific drivers and i was wondering if that would be a problem?
3rdly the grills have gone missing, but I haven't really looked that hard for them (could be in the attic, or 1 of 2 30 foot storage units) I'm sure they'll turn up and I will obviously find them before I officially put the speakers up for sale. Actually this is currently a non-issue disregard lol.
