Acceptance is the first step.

I have found it helpful not to go the eBay site unless I have a specific project I am working and need specific parts. Otherwise, like Hannibal Lecter, it just sucks you right in ... twwwwwp!

Ever notice how ebay and evil are both 4 letters words beginning with E !

Yep, I go there whether I need to or not. I'm really in a rut. I check my email, go to LHF and eBay.

Yes, I can help SB. Simply update your shipping address to mine. Then, when you bid, win, and pay, the item will not appear at your doorstep, the reward-phase of your addiction will not be satisfied, and your psyche will protest. Initially there will be a flourish of bidding and paying, but you will remain unsatisfied, and soon stop.

If this doesn't help, we'll try more drastic measures, like bank accounts... ;)

I'm in the same boat!!!!!!!!!! I'm now driving my wife nuts, it never used to be this bad. I'm either on the bay, or here reading and learning, or some sort of research on the net related to the AV world. No more time for porn, have much better time making and spending money on the bay. Remember if you want you know where to get it.

You know you have a serious problem when you spend TV commercial time going back for more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As a kid, I would anticipate TGIF - very fun shows on Friday nights.

Now, I just Tivo all the old shows and watch them at my convienience - or when I am not glued onto this forum.

Like wise time to admit I have a problem, it's just too easy, a click away for BIN. Just as bad with Agon, best offers, auctions. At least back when you had to get a MO at the post office you had time to think about the purchase, now it's right to PayPal and the latest toy is on the way. Agree that a 100% feedback rateing beats a high credit score any day of the week.

I don't either, LG. There are some good shows these days, but when I did watch it was all stuff on the science-nerd channels.

I thought I would watch after ordering the HD channels from my cable provider, but since I'm not into non-stop sports, it's a waste. Plus most of the HD channels remind me of very early cable TV, they show the same programs over and over, just not enough HD content to fill the time. Also, seeing what the talking heads on CBS, NBC, ABC, etc really look like gets old real quick. We'd all look good if reality was 325i with a little makeup...

No - tell me more!
We've been trying to catch "Little Mosque on the Prairie"
(really, I kid you not - its a CBC show - not half bad & fairly funny)
but it seems to appear infrequently on the interwebs ...
watched episodes 6 & 8 last night.

It's a sort of modern day Monty Python. It essentially acts out what many of us think and feel about the world today, only we don't, due to its non-political correctness. We get it on BBC Canada or BBC Kids Canada. There is a website if you google the show title. Have a look and see if your service offers it.

An acquired taste, yet hilarious once you clue in!
