Selling for new price not counting currency inflation...yep, too pricey for me.

Yep, to pricey for me, too. Even with free shipping at the BIN price. They look very nice.

Well, let's see if someone finds them attractive at that price. We've been surprised before.

I'm still reeling from some of the recent winning bids for JBLs. :spin:

Nobody has gone for the BIN option on these, yet.

hello fellow members, this is my first post all though I visit here often and it is a wealth of information, these L112's are about 10min. from me,I dont know what a fair price would be to pay for these as a collector, can anyone help with the value?,never listened to the 112's but sure they sound great.

The only real caveat with these is the lack of parts for the tweeter if one should fail...

Otherwise...what a great set of L112's. You'd be hard pressed to find a finer example. From an older gentleman's den....lovingly covered after his passing.

Oh...I'm not affiliated with the seller.....but quite a find if you're nearby. Maybe they'd credit the BIN shipping for local pickup.

Thanks edgewound for your knowledge,I am strongly considering these but we all know with ebay the world is watching and they may go much higher than I see reasonable

Even mint, the BIN is crazy.

[Current high bid is, too.... :p ]

Even at the current bid price I feel the seller should make a large donation to the widow's retirement fund. I'm getting ready to take pictures of my L112s right now if these go any higher!

They went for $869! Too high for me.

Think I will post my "minty" L110's on ebay and see what happens. They are very nearly as nice as those 112's. I have the boxes, packing material, owners manual, (currently at Zilchsters), and stands. They are just sitting in my bedroom doing nothing at this point.:hmm:

Mark, I thought you had sold your L110's. I think I remember you posting that you had decided to sell them. Was it $300 that you were asking for them?

Hi Larry,

I still have them and did offer them for $300 to any forum member plus any shipping etc. But, after seeing what a pair of L112's just went for it got me to thinking. As I am a man of my word, I would still offer them to forum members for that price if someone wants to come and get them. Zichster can vouch for their fine condition and the woofers were done a couple of months ago. Zilch also has the original owners manual, I have the boxes and aftermarket stands. My POS Kodak camera crapped out so I can't post any pictures at this time. Sorry if I went a bit OT.

Ya know....I emailed the seller with these L112's....and I said something like....

"so you got them for a song from the next door elderly lady because you felt sorry for her....and you are gonna make a killing on ebay, huh?"....

His reply was..."YUP"

Well at least whomever shelled out the $870 for them will probably give them a loving home... I highly doubt there's any motiviation to strip and flip these, you'd never make that money back parting them out!
