Two weeks ago this hit the blogs in Europe. It may have already been posted here, but I ran a search and didn't find it. Since many minds here probably think in a similar fashion, some might find it interesting. Seems a fellow had been looking for a place to move, bought a farm in Portugal, and while moving in, decided to go take am angle grinder to that old barn out back which had remained padlocked, rusted shut, for at least 15 years.

This link provides a shortened photo gallery of what he found when he opened the doors.

With tastes like this, surely theres a basement with some older JBL gear in there.

Incredible. It looks like one of the images labeled "American Cars" has a Tucker in it (on left?).

I'd settle for just the Alfas.

Likely there's JBL's or big Altecs hidden in a grain silo or an old storage shed or in the floorboards of the main house. Just got to keep looking.

Question though about the cars, wonder if they were original purchase/collection or were they "hot" and left there to cool? Will be interesting once the VIN numbers are checked with Interpol.

But boy, I'd have a heart attack just peering into a barn which had only seen the slivers of light each day for 15 years (almost 5500 days!!!). Gotta love those old Porsches and Italian cars.

Regards,

Bart
