ordered pair of 2405H drivers through local
'guitar center'...perhaps mistake #1... in mid-Oct.
GC salesperson called "JBL Service Desk" to get
status and was told 85 units were backordered.
Apparently GC didn't actually ever place an order because no units were available...but of
course they will once production catches up...
sometime near the end of this month... right.

point -> does anyone know if these units are ever -not- backordered? GC price was right, or
so it seemed at the time...

I don't know where you're located, but why not just "drop a dime" and get some advice on where to source these, from JBL...

Try this guy .... Short Sound Systems located in
Harmony Pennsylvania. Phone number is 724-453-1401
I have bought lots of equipment from him for my sound system

Speaking of these... has anyone tried any of the (I think) Epitome-brand model 1205 "clones" from Image? Looks like a shameless copy of a 2405 to me, just wonder if it works worth a #*&$%^...

Regards,
Gordon.

got 'em ... vintage boxes and all ;)

appear to be circa 1992 parts.

Folks at Harmon Parts were very helpful.

Thanks all.
