well im looking into building a pair of c40 cabinets for a pair urei 813b and maybe a super tweeter any advice

- I'd locate & use 813c duplexes since they're based on JBLs', E145 woofer. IMO, its' cone & coil topology will better drive the back-loaded horn of the C-40 ( 4530 ) .
- The 813a ( Altec based ) would be my second choice ( albiet, a close second ) followed by the 813b ( a distant third ) .

I have built hundreds of the single scoops ( 4530 / C40 ) and the altec / urei / jbl coaxes are too deep to fit unless you make a serious baffle extension.

what i was gonna do to get around the dehpt problem was cut a hole in the second baffel behind the woofer to accomadate the tweeter any ideas on a super tweeter thanks for your input
