There was a guy selling a new-in-unopened-box Crown Amcron PS-200 on ePay last week. He refused to show a picture of the amp thinking it was worth more unopened. I asked. It brought about $25 less than the previous normal-use PS-200 a week previous. I tried to tell him; no one is buying the box! How'd you like to open these "mint" 4410As only to find the corners smashed or the surrounds shot? I love the idea but open the box already!

Why not say, only opened to inspect and take pictures. Isn't the new owner going to eventually want to open the box? We want to see those beauties!

I figure you buy a sealed box sight-unseen on eBay, you have no recourse if the condition (of the contents) isn't perfect. They will do better to open the box and show the speakers, even if they want to document the disinterment. I'm still watching, but while listening to the 4412As I paid $169 for, so my limits may be lower than most.
