The old retail was $470.00 (1988). I would think at that BIN they would/better look new>>>>>

Your right, but I think that's about $100 too steep.. but hey thats me :).

I posted the the old retail for reference because of the What's up with that question. Sometimes it's nice to see original pricing for comparison for what you are getting used, and given current condition.
Just as a guideline, so as not to over commit.

So is the woofer in these speakers the same one that's used in the 18Ti speakers? If it is then just by adding the 044Ti tweeter and the crossover from the 18Ti you'd have a Lac. 18Ti, yes or no? True this guy is saying his cabinets are not all that great but, how good are they? The photo's do nothing to tell the story. Plus no original packing could cause finish problems during shipment! I agree that $300.00 is too much for these and I guess the tweeter doesn't draw a crowd like the 044Ti does.
