I've got XPL-140's with the stands, and yes, those are the correct ones. Now, if I could just find a set of MTX-200's for my XPL-200A;s... :banghead:

Hey gang I picked up those overpriced XPL 160's that were on Audiogon for my older daughter for Christmas. The seller paid the frieght on shipping so it wasn't that bad however still over priced. He did have all the goodies with then even the white gloves. We had been looking for a set in Piano Black for some time and those seemed like they would be in nice condition. They were very nice and sound great too! Only damage in shipping was that one of the speaker grill pegs broke. No good way to fix that but, the grilles stay on just fine. I called JBL to see if maybe they still had some grilles but, they didn't. They are hooked up to the McIntosh MC502 amp along with the rest of the 500 series preamp (504) and tuner (500). I set her up with the MCD7005 CD player and that made up her Christmas gift. Hey, you got to have good sound when your a newlywed! Those speaker really put out some very nice bass. I tested them with the "Time and Tide" CD from Basia and really liked the sound. i think now I'd like a set of these for my collection or perhaps the XPL200's. Just have to wait until a nice pair comes up. I'm sure they will. At any rate I said all that to ask this, the XPL 160's don't need stands, do they? They seem to sit at the right height now but, I see that the XPL200 had stands so now I'm not sure. If they did have stands what model number were they?? Cheers, Frank
