JBL G135A-8 and 2416-1
What do you think of JBL G135A (15" woofers) and Compression Driver 2416 for home audio use. I am thinking about using 1st order crossing them at 1200~1600. Any recommendation. Thanks.

The G135A is a Music Instrument speaker. I wouldn't use it for Hifi.
The 2416H is a "cheaper" 2426 and can be used in Studio Monitor or Hifi applications.
In the 4425 Monitor the 2416 is crossed over to the 2214 woofer at 1200Hz.
I've tried them and they seemed to do OK - not much bass though . With my 2 watts amp, I really dont have much choice ;)

Whatever works for you is good.
You could get some decent low end by using a passive radiator with your G135.
High efficiency and deep bass will make you smile a little anyway.
