Or you can use the sites navigational map to look up different types over the company’s long legacy.

I have looked at the above information on that thread. I'm looking for, and I know it's a reach, the blueprints? For building a set from scratch to exact factory spec's and dimensions on the enclosure. (for a recreation project)

It's not blueprints, but dimensioned drawings are on the site somewhere.

Post the link here when you find them....

Take a close look.Yes, do. I explain one of the networks in that thread. Newer version but you'll get the general idea.

I thought you already had 250Ti's.

What type of material are you going with MDF?

Found these pictures in Google image, I’m more into loudspeakers with a black finish say (ash back) wish I had the dosh to buy these they look nice. I see there also four-way that’s useful when using Bi-amp.

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction. Yes I do and they are still for sale. I've developed a bug in the one woofer I re-foamed and I'm looking for a way to correct it. It is the waiting game now. I wanted to see the exact dimensions and internal drawings for reference if I decide to build a set for keeps.
The ones I have are not mine. Plus I like to play and I have a killer cabinet guy. He builds complete kitchens and all of my custom wall units for Home Theater use. So If I do a set from scratch they will be something that will make a statement, from all aspects.

Thank you again for the help. J/S-S1A :applaud::applaud::applaud::applaud:

Yes, I will use 3/4" stock and a veneer exterior. Probably do Satin Black on a deep grain oak. When you do the satin finish on a deep grain oak it is most impressive. It really brings out the detail in the wood grain. Klipsch changed their veneer grain depth in the later generation of the Reference 7's and let me tell you what they look great, very, very deep, detailed grain.

The re edging of the surround foam, did you use cloth ribbon over the original foam?

I had to re edge my JBL control 5 with rubber surround instead of the original foam it was a bit messy and sticky with getting all into place and testing it with blocking up the front port and playing a sine wave at 30Hz just to make sure there was no stray leakage of air coming from the sides of the bass mid driver.

When I asked a friend to help build a clone JBL 4645 with all the trimmings to having sprayed with two cans of primer and four cans of Saturn black, total cost of the whole thing was around £70.00 MDF is so affordable and offers great results too.

So I guess the Ti well look fab in Saturn Black.:applaud:

Is this the type of bass driver that she has running her, wicked mate, wicked!:)

Yes that is the woofer I need. LE14H-1. The one I had re-foamed has an issue at medium volume. So it needs a re-cone. I will post it on e-bay when I get a replacement for it. Is that driver in the picture good, and for sale? I would do a cash and trade of my sick woofer???????????
The re-foam was done with the correct foam kit. It was a strip out the old and and in with the new re-do.

I believe it was mentioned recently that there are still some NOS LE14H-1s available at Harman Consumer Parts.

[Talk to Giskard, maybe?]

I will do a double check but I believe they are no longer.

The LE14H-1 woofers in a NOS state are no more. Here is the direct answer from JBL, and we all know the current word on re-cone kits, not ava. at this time either.

Hi

Thank you for your inquiry. These speakers are great. However, the
drivers for your speakers are no longer available. Fortunately, we still
support these speakers. You can have the drivers re-coned, restoring
them back to their original condition.
Re-coning is something that can be done by any of our factory authorized
service centers. These service centers have been trained by JBL and are
able to perform this procedure to our specifications.
A drivers frame and magnet will virtually never wear out, but the moving
components (surround, cone, spider, voice coil, etc.) will. Re-coning
replaces all of these moving components. The service center will remove
all old components from the frame and magnet and replace them with brand
new components, restoring your driver to its original condition and
sound.
This is not inexpensive to do, but definitely worth it, as replacing
this entire speaker system with a comparable speaker system would be
considerably more expensive.
If you would like to have your drivers re-coned, please call
516-255-4525 and then follow the prompts for SERVICE CENTERS. Please
specify Recone Centers. They will be able to refer you to the people
that can work on your speakers for you, as well as give you pricing. You
can also proceed to www.jbl.com (http://www.jbl.com/), and follow the product support link.
Thanks

Sincerely
