LE14A refoam

The surround on an LE14A would appear to be, mechanicly, slightly different than most foam surround speakers. The new surrounds that I have look like any ordinary surround. Should the roll go down, somewhat like the original. Or, should it go up, like most speakers?

My refoamed LE14As are all roll up. Same with new cone kits.

Refoams are mounted on the face of the cone per original. New kits (H-1) on the rear.

Go figure.

What type of LE-14A's do you have?? Lansplas yellow or foam black??? The Lansplas was originally roll down mounted on the top of the come. The newer foam 14A's are roll-up mounted on the bottom side.

I'm guessing that means that when I put a gray foam on it goes roll up even though the original surround is white and roll down.
