I am considering putting a 122A into an E250P subwoofer to 'tighten up' the bass. Of course the 122A originally came in the L65A and L166. The E250P box volume is 2.03 cu. ft. compared to the L65A box volume of 2.47 cu. ft. and the L166 box volume of 1.86 cu. ft. All volumes are gross interior assuming a 3/4 inch wall tickness. I have no specs on the E250P other the minimal ones on JBL's web site. ( http://www.jbl.com/home/products/product_detail.aspx?prod=E250P&CheckProduct=Y ) I also do not know the port size of the L65A or L166. The port size of the E250P is 9 inches long and it is tapered from 3 inches out to 4 3/4 inches. Nor do I know the diameter of the 122A to determine if it will drop-in.

Any comments/suggestions/issues (network compatibility, power considerations, fitment, et al.) regarding the suitability of the 122A in this application would be appreciated.
