whats the difference between crest 7001 ans ca-9

Hello I have a chance to buy a crest ca 9 power amp , should I hold off and wait for an crest 7001. which one would have a better sound quilaty

proud owner of a crest ca-9 power amp. crown-qsc -makie-yamaha- carver- all are good products, but I love what crest ca-9 do for my personal taste:D

Out of all the amps I own the Crest CA-9 is my favorite.

I have used both extensively, the CA-9 is a bit better sounding, but the 7001 has some real issues..we had 7001 power supplies fail to the point that 110 volts went to pin one of the input jack....NONE of the 7001's we had were ever quiet...with the gain pots all the way down and not connected to anything else, the amp still put out a very low level buzz. Not the power, not the location. Stick with the CA-9. Tim
