Hi everyone,
I have JBL LE-14H-1 units which need refoaming. (of my 250ti) I need help about some points.

I've purchased a kit from "Simply Speakers" and get my units to a repairsmen. He said that he also removed the dust cap and to avoid scraping modifed the bottom. But i'm not a big fan of "removing the dust cap". So i decided to apply the kit by myself. The cone is centered well. The speakers are in great condition. What do you think about removing the cap? Is it necessary? Which method is the best for me?
Today, I've dealt with cleaning. It's almost done. But a tiny amount of old foam remained under the cone. How can I clean completely? Or is it enough to apply the kit?

And as a last question , What are your opinions and warnings about LE-14H-1's refoaming application?
Best Regards.
