Hi Guys,what is the part number of the ellipitcal alloy horn flare that sits behind the 2395 slant plate lens? its about 12" long,and mouth is about 11"x 6" i need one. thanks if anyone can help.

HL90 = consumer horn/lens combo I think.... not sure what size tho'

I think the horn itself for 2395 from the pro line is #2343

<------ see this avatar.....the 2390 (or HL89) is the complete system with 2309 and 2310 (on the top of the cabs right side.
<----- left side: the 2395 (or HL90) is the complete system with 2343 horn and xxxx lens. I think the lens never had a number (or maybe L90 ??) . It was never sold alone.

The HL-90, the H5038, and other JBL horns with an elliptic mouth are exponential horns.

Reverse engineering with a view to a CAD drawing and ultimately replicas of these horns is easy, precisely because they are elliptic (= no transition from circular to rectangular).

Reverse engineering of the Iwata horn, not to mention the DD66000 Everest horn, is much more difficult.

The attached drawing shows the mouth and the curves of the side and the top of the H5038 horn.
