a bud is thinking about an open baffle setup of bass/midbass to an Altec 511 B horn. My suggestion was as set of 15 or 18 inch subs in a "W" frame dipole with a smaller 10-12 inch bass above running OB under the 511.
I know that somewhere on this site is a project that talks about getting the dispersion of (I think a 10" bass/mid) to have the same dispersion characteristics as the horn at crossover. Wonder if anyone here has comments or suggestions. Thanks regards moray James.
