I think your question is a little broad. There were probably hundreds of different amps/cabinets that were available with JBL E130 speakers over the years. But in almost all of them the E130 was offered as a premium option, not as the standard speaker compliment.

So, for any amp or cabinet in which you might find an E130 you would be much more likely to find that same amp or cabinet equipped with the cheaper standard speaker. (They sell a lot more Chevys than Cadillacs)

There may be a handful of amps/cabs that came with E130s standard. I seem to have a vague recollection of an old Sho-Bud slide guitar amp that came with a JBL D130 standard. Maybe some other members know of examples sporting JBLs as standard equipment.

There was time that some Crate amps came with E-series speakers.

JBL's Cabaret Series 4621(K-130), 4621A(E-130) was a single 15" cabinet.

There was time that some Crate amps came with E-series speakers.But be careful - later Crate amps used the M series JBL's...

From my experience most guitar and/or bass cabs came w/ the D-130. In my years of dealing w/ vintage music gear I don't remember any e-130's unless someone had put it in the cab themselves.

I can tell you that some early and mid seventies Fender cabs (dual showman, bassman) came w/ D-130's

I guess you're right and I'm really thinkling of D130s not E130s.

If most E130s were put in by the user and not the factory then it would be nearly impossible to predict which cabinets would be likely to contain them.

Most reliable way I ever found to spot JBLs in a cabinet was just to look for those big 4 inch silver domes. Back when I was playing rock and roll in the seventies lots of speakers came with silver domes, but none of them were as big as the JBLs. It wasn't very hard to recognize them through most any kind of grille cloth.

My old Standell amp had big silver domes, but they weren't JBL (don't remember the actual make). Additionally, my Acoustic 201 cabinets each used two Altec 15s (421s I believe) and these also had aluminum domes (but 3" I believe).

It was nice that the Acoustic cabinets had lifetime warrantees as the Phase Linear 400 cooked the h-ll out of them and the included Atlas horns. Acoustic replaced all speakers and horns no questions asked a couple times.

I was gonna say the Altec 421's(my favorites over the d-130) also have the large domes but was beat to it

Maybe it's because I used both 421As and D140s for bass guitar that I always found it easy to tell the two apart, IF I was seeing them in person, or they were pictured in a familiar cabinet.
