they look similar on specs , 3 way , 10 in. but I just watched a pair of 4313s go for $419 delivered.

I dearly enjoy my pristine 4410s and wondering why the 4313 pair went for more than $169 more than I paid.

Is it just "the eBay effect" ?? or is there something there I dont know about ?:bouncy:

It's the blue baffle thing, as well. I had a pair of 4410's when they were new in the 80's. They were very neutral, clean....and kind of, well, sterile sounding. Even with old Mac tube amps. The 4313 is more of the classic JBL sound, although much smoother and tighter than the big guns. I would also stick my neck out here and take a chance of getting "Giskarded"...the 4313's were better built...bigger magnet/voice coil in the woofer(with a cool foilcal and serial number!!), no plastic tweeter frame...and much prettier veneer. My 1980's 4301B's look much richer than my 1980's 4406's in the wood department. Having said all this, IMHO, the 4410 and 4313 are worth around the same...to ME, anyway....one has better low end, one has better high end...they are both beautiful speakers visually and aurally. It's just hard to compete with the LE10H woofer....and those mesmerizing foilcals on the blue baffles:bouncy::bouncy::bouncy:

the 4410 veneer is OKAY, not as nice as my old L100s. They are also VERY neutral and accurate.
I am running mine with 2 10in. SUBS, but only because the 4410 is rated to only 40hz, and I already had the subs.
A very respected audio authority ( Hi Zilch ) calls them "A Zilchster favorite, accurate but somehow warm sounding"
The imaging is incredible...best I've heard. HF is also outstanding. They cruise along effortlessly. Being "nearfields" , they are perfect for a smaller living room.:applaud:

Hi John,

I want to know your comments about 4410. Thanks!I've never listened to 4410's - I only know that technically the 10" LF speaker in the 4313's is better.

Hi seawolf....I am back to the land of the lively...about your speakers, do they image better than the ohms you have? just curious. I scored a pristine pair of L-112s today by the way. talk to you in person soon

glad to see you made it .....my bud picked up both a TASCAM NAB R2R and Hafler pre-amp yesterday at "the store". I got a very nice pair Marantz HD770 and pair "rock Solids".

The Ohms have a separate tweeter besides the Walsh can. very directional. you aim them by logo orientation. very sweet IF you stay in the "sweet spot".

the 4410s titanium HF has much wider dispersal and moving around doesn't affect image as much. They are both fine speakers, but my current infatuation is with the JBLs.

Gotta admit tho, for unusual , good looking speakers, its hard to beat the "Ohm pyramids"
