I tested a pair of 119HS-1 drivers used in the Control 10 system and here are the results

I averaged the two sets of numbers together for importing into WinISD. I also looked up the Control 10 and determined that JBL went with approximately 2.5 Cuft tuned to about 40 Hz. This yields a peak of 3 db at 77 hz and a -6db cutoff at 35 Hz. We tested the driver in a 2.5 cu ft box and tuned the cabinet to around 42 hz (only tubes I had were 3 inches long, I needed 3.5") and found the peak at 79 Hz to be pronounced but not overbearing. Frequency response charts (http://www.jblpro.com/pub/obsolete/Control_10.pdf#search=%22control%2010%22) matched the predicted design and simple testing confirmed what was expected.
This is a quality driver that uses an accordian surround and a stiff spider. The magnet is not vented and smaller than other 12 inch drivers but is magnetically shielded, a plus for HT. Rather than use a huge magnet structure to dampen the driver, JBL chose mechanical means to control the cone. The Control 10 is rated at 300 watts "program material" which translates to a reliable 100 watts continuously. The driver is designed for rear mounting, there is no gasket on the rear of the basket flange.
Simulations ran with WinISD.
2.8 cu ft tuned to 35 Hz shown. 2.5 cu ft tuned to 40Hz was similar with better rolloff.
