Gentleman:

I was looking at the tech manual for the L300 Summit cross-over (N333) and I'm wondering why it was built to be used with a 8 Ohm woofer, and 16 Ohm mid driver and again 16 Ohm tweeter.
I didn't know that there were both 8 and 16 Ohm LE85/2425J and again the same with the 077/2405H.
I have 8 Ohm 2235H, LE85 and 077 being used with LX300b cross-overs. Is this correct?
I get the best bass while using my Luxman tuner, then less bass using my Technics CD player and eaven more disapointing sound using vinyl (Shure V15/Type 4!!) This is using a Bryston 11b pre and a high current 100wpc Mc Cormack amp. See my previous post... Thanks.

LE85s are 16-Ohm nominal, unless the diaphragm has subsequently been replaced with a later 8-Ohm variety.

All ring radiators, 075, 076, and 077 are 8 Ohms, no matter what it says on the foilcal.

2425/6 is either 8 Ohms "H" or 16 Ohms "J" version.
