University Sound T-203 Sphericon Tweeters

Hi folks- I'm a newbie on this site, so bear with me... I have acquired a pair of University Sound T-203 Sphericon Tweeters. They appear to be from the 40's. They are in Bakelite cases. I would like to learn more about them- such as the age, quality and value. I have not tried them out yet and I would like to learn how to do that the right way. ANY help would be appreciated. I have sold some on ebay. The last set that I sold went for about 25.00 each if I remember correctly. Those were mint appearing, and tested good.
