I moved my L-19's to main (front) duty temporarily (4344's getting
woodwork done) and am amazed by there upper end sound. I've had
these for about a month and they went straight to surround duty, I
never bothered to test them as 2ch mains-I mean I'm using 44's, but
you gotta be kidding me, These friggin little things can sing. My question
is, is that tweeter in all "L" series JBL's, and also which, if any monitors.
I mean for 1970, it's way ahead of its time for clarity, sizzle and presence
for that matter. I am new to this forum, but I have owned Jbl's throughout
my life, just had a long audio layoff (wife-kids, etc) Now I'm getting back
to real music and sound (That means the vintage JBL's of my youth)
I've already learned alot here, so thanks in advance. My JBL's are powered
by a pioneer vsx1015tx and a rotel rb 1080, usually played in stereo, or
7CH stereo with a pioneer gr-777 eq. Thanks again.

Turnitup those L19 will surprise you for sure. I started out with a single L19 but ran into a "bunch" of 4301b which is the pro equivilant for my future surround system. Either way, L19 or 4301b, they are a very nice vintage JBL speaker.
