I have had a pair of Lansing Valencia 846b forever. In storage for the last 3 years. I need to get these things rawkin again. I'm missing one driver, diaphram, the whole assembly, and the other one doesn't work. I saw auctions for these for $450 and more that I really don't want to spend.

What can I bolt up to these horns that will get me back in order?

TIA

I use him for all my Altec needs.

He is a very nice gentleman and very informative.

The Altec 902 1" drivers generally ebay for less than the various older Alnico models. They are newer, sometimes a lot newer, and have the radial phasing plug, which some say improves the high frequency performance.

Agreed! Unbolt the drivers and pack them off to GPA. Bill will remag them, install new diaphrams and send them back quicker then you will believe.
You Vals will be ready to rock again with a new lease on life.

I like the 902s also but you will want to be sure of impedence and XO Hzs so they are properly matched.
