Hey guys, I can snatch a pair of 4408's in excellent cond. for $260 shipped. Is this a good deal or should I keep looking? Thanks.

4408's or 4408A's? Either way, I think you'll find a better deal if you keep looking.

These are 4408's. What should the ballpark for these look like? $100? $150?

I paid in the 120 range, each, for the 4408a's and the 4408s are older so . . .
Let me know if you want to buy my 4408A's, I will sell them since I now have their bigger brother, the 4412A's.

If the surrounds are truly if good shape, (they're notorious for getting soft and rotting on these), $150 is probably OK. I've seen mint pairs of 4408A's going for $200/pair, but then again, they have black cabinets instead of wood veneer, and no HF level control, so you may prefer the original 4408's.

I'd pay extra for 4408s over the 4408As, because of the walnut veneer on the older version.
