Ooh, a picture would help! I'm way more familiar with Klipsch offerings, but it looks like some good parts, there. I know a lot of guys have used those horns modifying Khorns and such. If I were you, I'd start with a Google/Ebay search of the parts (which you may have done already). Good luck!

That's a later combination, the 1209-8A XO came out in the late seventies, but the drivers are early to mid 80's models. The 921 is an MI driver, which replaced the 421, so this combination was most likely for PA or SR, possibly in 828 (A7) cabinets. Being an MI driver, the 921 wouldn't be the best choice of Altec 15s for HIFI, but all the other components would. Need a good description (or pics) of the cabs to put a system number to it, if they are indeed factory cabs.

Correct.

I'd call it a 1233, which was an MI or utility system that came out in the late 70's with a 421 and an 808-8B. Either this one is a later version that came with the current drivers, or the original driver were replaced with the correct newer equivalents at some point. See the '78 MI catalog in the library for a brief description. The cab plans are in the library too, so you could verify the model by measurement comparison.
