Hi everybody!. Just received that c8rle52 cone that i had ordered, and the cotton surround
is left un-treated ( the cone suspension is much less stiff).
I was wondering when Jbl stoped treating the LE 5-... series of mids?
what spkr, systems used a un-treated suspension LE 5- ...?
I did not listen for it's sound for hours,(i re-coned it myself) but,
compared to a original LE 5-2, it sounds better:D... Low-mid sounds
more "open"...
There must be very few speaker companies that you could still buy
re-cones for 30 year old drivers!:applaud::applaud::applaud:.
