I recently picked up a pair of 4" 2104h midranges, and I can't find any info on them.

The seller wrote, "This is the Cone High Midrange Device that is used in the VERTEC ARRAY model VT4887 Loudspeakers Systems, the latest version of the legendary 2105." However, I don't see how they can be the latest ver. of the 2105 when these are an inch smaller in dia.

All my googling turns up is confirmation that a 2104h quartet is in fact the midrange compliment of the VT4887 array segment.

Since some of you guys seem to have the magical ability to conjure secret JBL spec sheets, I thought I'd humbly ask. Please?

Any passband suggestions?

Are you sure they're an inch smaller diameter? They look the same size to me.

Thanks, Rob!

I guess it makes sense that the 2104h would just be a reissued 104h.

John,

Now that you mention it, maybe they're the same size. I was thrown off by the advertised 5" nominal dia. of the 2105 when the actual radiating diameter of the 2104h is somewhat less than 4".

Thanks again, fellas! Any leads on T/S parameters?

JBL Pro Tech Library

You want to look at the 104-2 or 3 the 104H is a polypropylene cone.
