Picked theese up at an Estate sale and could realy use some help figuring out the model number. About 34 in tall, 15 in wide, 3 way-12,5,3, 250 watts ea, champagne gold faceplate along bottom front with: "marantz" and "sound overload protection", graph image, orange power light, gold tweeter control button. Brown cloth grills, dark wood veneer is gorgeous.Gold overlay rings over speakers.http://jrb.photosite.com/I guess them to be about 1980 but could use some help with the model number. Are you sure about the speakers size and the wattage?

Your specs are matching several models.

Actual cabinet meas are 31 3/4 in tall, 15 in wide, 10 5/8 deep. (grills off) 11 1/4( grills on).The speaker meas are overall measur. of the speaker housing not the "cone" woof 12 mid 5 tweet is 4 inches.I think I had 3 in orig post. The unique feature is probably the "circuit overload protection" and "hi frequency" control knob". Rating is "250 watts max" and appears on the lower gold faceplate. thank you for your help. I added a couple more pics for a better look.

My best gueses would be

SP-1250
SP-124
SP-1230

The SP series does list built in "Overload Protection" on the 1230
