You are looking for a substitution???? Any substitution will require network changes. Can't find LE-14's??

Changes/ajustment of network is not a problem as i have all measuring equipement as engineer.
Was just wondering if it was possible to get some LE14x alike units from manufactors like Bayer-Dynamics, like its possible for 4430.. Its far lower prices and also good units..... Lower price is well-seen for the 5-6-channal system

In my opinion the LE14H-1 is a unique transducer and not to replace. Please post a link to that bayer-dynamics speakers so that we can see what they are. I do not know them.

Hi guys
first i have to correct my self. I was thinking at Beyma. I dont know how Bayer-Dynamics came to my head.. Never mind..
I look for a replacement for the LE14x from other manufactors, like the JBL2235H can be replaced with Beyma 15B100 at just a fraction of the price.. Interesting for DIY projects and thats what im intend to do. Just not with the 2235H for 4435, but looking for a LE14x replacement for a 250 DIY

The 15B100 is an substitude for the 2234! The 2235 is different because of it's higher moving mass.

Hi Guido,
yea your right on that. Things are that the 15B100 measure pretty much the same in a cabinet according to diy's at http://www.behringer-electric.de/

I hope that someone know about LE14xx alternatives and can provide info.

Thanks
Jens

Hello

I have installed Le14 A on my 250 Diy using an xpl200 crossover .( difficult to find Le14H)

Having the chance to compare with real 250 Ti with upgraded crossover ; I can say my bass is not so clean , a little bit fat like the sound of 70's , Anyway I prefer this sound ....

Run Bi amp ....

Also I did much prefer the 104H2 to le5-5 ....

My opinion and only .
