UREI 809s

I'm about to be the new owner of a pair of "original condition" UREI 809s. (I know they're an old standard but I am too!) I'd like to know their actual developmental history. I'd like to read technical articles, get factory literature copies and a parts breakdown. I want to be sure they're truly all original as the seller maintains (and guarantees). Any help or comments welcome. Thanks.

There has been a rash of them on E-bay lately. That is the only brochure I have seen but others might know more. Don can help on the Urie history.
