C8R2121/C8R2122?

I have a repair here... customers house struck by lightning, blowing his Crown PSA amps / Crown crossover, and as a result, damaging his JBL 4340s.

Both 2231s and both 2121s are damaged... recone required. Fortunately, the 2420s and 2405s are good, as well as the crossovers...

C8R2235 for the 2231s is obviously do-able... but I need a suitable kit, to recone the 2121s. If anyone has any of these around, we can afford to pay "market price" for them (insurance claim). Please let me know...

Well, looks like I'm completely a**-backwards on this one. C8R2121 kits are currently available, but the C8R2235 is on backorder, without even a "due date". Now to find a pair of 2235 kits, somewhere...

Hi Gordon, I noticed in the newest recone kit list from February 2006, the list price of the C8R2235 kit is down to $156. Can you confirm this change?

The recone price for a 2235 of $174.00 is the sum of $156.00 for the kit and a nominal labor charge of $18.00 per the factory.
