Hi everybody, I´m a Brasilian JBL fan. Initially, I would like say from the start that my english is not god, sorry.

I have a L65 JUBAL and it´s used with my Marantz 510M Amp. I´m planning to DIY a L300 from the ground. First because I don´t have enough money to pay them, second that to shipp to Brazil I will pay more $2500 for the freight and tributes, what makes the buying indequate.

I will separate the job in two parts: Cabinet and Electronics.

Cabinet:

1 - What the dimension of the L300?
2 - What kind of material could I use? MDF?
3 - What kind of internal material that I will have to put?

Electrics:

1 - Where can i find the schematics of the crossover?
2 - Can I use other midrange (vifa, scanspeak) with the same result?
3 - What have to be JBL in this speaker to get the same result? Woofer? L077?

I would like to ask where can I find some information about the cabinet and the schematics of the crossover (N333).

As I´ve noticed, the price range for the L300 is 2500~3500 US$, what is out of my budget.

I ask for help to make this dream come true.

Murillo - you can find all that info on the site using a search including the crossover schematic which is also on the the JBLPro website.

Murillo - I won the 136A's, sorry.
Did you look at the EBay L300 driver/xover item I posted earlier in this thread? It may be high by $500 cw buying full L300 speakers but individual components go for more and this is in the range of what things are going for. And it is everything in one place, except no 2308/L91 lenses. Also may have to recone/foam the woofs. I am not planning to bid.

PS - I do not think you can sub much of anything, other thatn the enclosure, and still end up sounding like L300's. Maybe the midrange with something from TAD or Radian but that is by reputation, I haven't heard their drivers.
