Anyone know anything about the Telefunken T-201 Short wave receiver?

I have a chance to buy one thinking it might be fun to play with but I know nothing about them.

Superbee,

do you mean this one?
http://www.radiomuseum.org/r/telefunken_t201_1.html
But it has Long Wave, Short Wave plus FM. (javascript:void(0);)
In Germany FM (UKW) was always an importand feature within standalone tuners

BINGO!

o.k., the website dosn't show the specs correctly, here is a copy out of "High Fidelity Jahrbuch 1967/68".
It is a Hifi-tuner from that time, but it is only one amoung others. Best at that time were BRAUN or GRUNDIG here in Germany. On eBay prices are strongly varying, but I would estimate 0 - 50 EUR for the BRAUNs and GRUNDIGs. (But I've got a much better BRAUN receiver for 25 EUR :)).

As best prize I suggest "eine Kiste Bier" ( a box with beer?) you both can enjoy:cheers:
