jbl 4408s came in today............

just picked up a pair on ebay,and the seller was very honest in his description ,and started that one of the tweeters seemed to be weaker that the other but that was all ,aside from a small tear or two in the grill . they arrived today ,and the gentelman included a note taped to one in the form of an answer to my question ,whick involved marking the weak one for me. he said he no longer had gear to test them so he didnt know which one it was.i hooked them up one at a time and they sounded GREAT:applaud:. upon taking both tweeters out ,i find 035tias instead of what i expect ,which is 035ti's. by the way both foam surronds are in great shape. i feel it was a great find for me as they were $81.00 total.........any thoughts on what just happened here,other than me getting a great deal? jbl all the way!!!!!

Yea, I love mine.

I used the hanging brackets intended for the Control 5's (http://www.jblpro.com/pages/recording/control.htm#Control5), and suspended the 4408's from the corners of the sleeping quarters. They are excellent there - perfect coupling with the walls, if I do say so myself.

zilch,giskard,and boputnum thansk so much for the replys. i have a second pair of 4408s(who could be without two,right?). and they have the 035tis in them. were both used in the 4408 at one point or amother?this forum is the best!!!!!
