Agreed..., and price is still very reasonable. If it wasn't for local pick-up only... :crying:

They're pretty nice but look well-used. I'd plan on a full refurbishing given that they've probably been run hard. I picked up a set of 813s, first version with Altec 604s, and had the Altecs reconed from GPA. The cabinets work out to about 11 cu ft each and is made of 1" plywood with 2x4 bracing.
I can't imaging what I'd do with these 3 even with the smaller cabinets but it would make one heck of a home theater system.
One other item for who might purchase them, the caps in the crossover deserve to be replaced. These will sing even better with that minor effort.
Cheers,
David

And I could drive there, but WAF and finances will likely hinder me.
I will watch, but they will go at least $2k I am sure.
HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
I will be putting up a pair of Urei 811C for sale. I got to figure out how to ship these very heavy and delicate cone front.
How do you sellers ship these, can I hire a company to pack and take them? I don't have materials to pack this and barely the strength.
Thanks
Zilch

Yellow Pages:
"Packing and Crating Services"
They'll also ship them for you, most likely....
