Any speculation on what drivers are in these diy cabinets? The 077 is obvious and then what looks to be a HL91 horn, missing the diffuser, driver would only be speculation. The woofer looks like a possible D130 (acordian edge, smooth cone) but the size is wrong. Looks to be a 12". Any clue ?

Mid driver looks like a 2"er to me, so that would be a H93/2311 horn. The woofer looks like a 12" 2202 but it has too many screw holes... I don't think the woofer is JBL.

The woofer looks like an EVM 12L or 12S or an EV DL12X

The lady's asking $300 so I'll see about driving up this weekend.Let's see, around $400 for the 077s and $800 for the 375s (much more if they are pretty) and $2.50 for the EV woofers.... that's well worth the gas.;)

I'm with Widget on that driver, definitely 2". I think he's a little high on those EV's though. :D

Not sure that woofer is an EV. Looks like it could also possibly be a JBL 2022H. Those frames have 8 bolt holes.

Gordon.

Three things I notice... no VC leads, cheap style gasket, and due to the vintage of the mid horn and 077 I doubt it would be a 2022H.

This is turning into a fun guessing game..."I can name that 12" in three guesses".

Ok...I'll go further:D . Due to the shadowing on the cone, I'll venture to say it's too deep to be an EVM 12S. That leaves either EVM 12L OEM version, or EV DL12X. Also has the typical one piece paper gasket that EV uses. On the back plate there should be a code that reads "812-xxxx" if there is no model label. How exciting!!!:bouncy:

But there's no way it's a JBL.

Eminence anyone?

Nope:o: ...those all have black frames. Some EV models, and especially non-branded OEM models have a sort of silverish-goldish-titaniumish colored frame.

Im going with it being an EVM-12L if you fix the dust cap you can get about $125 to $150 a peice for them.

Most EV DL-series drivers have black baskets... and it's probably not a Force 12, for the same reason it's not an EVM-12S (shallow basket on Force and S models). So, if it is an EV, it's probably an EVM-12L as mentioned above.

Also, why are we assuming it's the original woofer the cabinet was built with? Could have been replaced at any time... so, the woofer could be any age...

The reason I postulated, JBL 2022H, is that the woofer appears to have an M-roll surround. No EV driver has that...

Regards,
Gordon.

So I guess we'll just have to wait and see what the verdict is. Since it has a paper gasket....IF it's in fact a JBL frame...the only explanation would be some aftermarket hack got a hold of an innocent JBL 12"...'cause real JBL's dont have a paper gasket.

Look closely at the upper left hand corner of the original picture...I think you see the woofer's twin brother...
