Hi! I found this board while looking for replacement woofers for my old JBL L26,s. The foam is rotted out again. I had them redone around 15 yrs ago. I was going to just throw them out and get some new speakers to replace them. After looking around here a while I'm thinking maybe I shouldn't do that. I just use them in my living room,:rockon1: what would be the advantage to fixing the old speakers.
Thanks!
Doug

Hello Doug
Do you still like them??? Buy a foam repair kit fixem and they will be good as new. Not bad for $25. Go speaker shopping see what you get for the same money:p
Rob:)
The company simplyspeakers.com can refoam your L26's or supply you with a kit. If you are handy with a solder iron you can replace the capacitor, internal wires and binding posts. I did this to my L26's and it improved the sound greatly.
Hope this helps.
